Clairita Porter is a Board Member of Texas Blossoms. Clairita spent most of her professional life in different education roles across California, Oklahoma, and Texas. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Clairita has been a K-12 Director of Curriculum, the Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Oklahoma, and a National Reading Consultant/Trainer.

Since retiring, Clairita has been very active on the East Side of Fort Worth. She served as the President of Woodhaven Neighborhood Association for four years and is currently also an active Board Member at Woodhaven Community Development.
